या देवी सर्वभूतेषु माँ कालरात्रि रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नम:।।

Maa Kalratri is the seventh form of Durga ji. Because of their black color, they are called Kalratri.

To kill Raktabeej, the king of Asuras, Goddess Durga created Maa Kalratri with her brilliance. Due to her worship being auspicious and fruitful, she is also called Shubhankari.

The body of Goddess Kalratri is black like the darkness of night, her hair is scattered and she has a garland of electricity around her neck. He has four hands in which he is holding a dagger in one hand and an iron fork in one hand. Apart from this, his two hands are in Varamudra and Abhaya Mudra. She has three eyes and fire emanates from his breath. The vehicle of Kalratri is Gardabha (donkey).
