Bhagwan Shiva is referred to as the "destroyer" within the Trimurti, the third deity of the Supreme Divinity which includes Brahma and Vishnu. In the Shaivite tradition, Shiva is the Supreme Lord who creates, protects, and transforms the universe. God Bhole Bhandari Shambhu is also known by many names.
