The Dwadashi Tithi, Which falls on the twelfth day of the Shukla phase of the month of Shravan, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Damodar Dwadashi fast is a special day dedicated to Lord Vishnu which is on 17 Aug 2024 (Tuesday). All the devotees observe the fast of Damodar Dwadashi with full devotion and faith to get the blessings of Lord Vishnu. The fast of Damodar Dwadashi is observed on the Dwadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. Lord Vishnu has many names. Damodar is one of the many names of Lord Vishnu. The month of Shravan is marked as the Shravan Nakshatra of stars in the sky.
